Quick Tip

Did you know...

That you can find the readability of a passage by using Microsoft Word? If you open a Word document, go to Files > Options > Proofing, then in the "When correcting spelling and grammar" section, check Show readability statistics you will be able to determine the readability of a passage typed into the word document.

To use this feature once it is selected you can highlight a section of the text in the word document, go to Review > Spelling and Grammar and you will get the Counts, Averages and Readability of the passage.
